SingTown Technology's AI smart camera solution, based on the OpenMV platform, leverages powerful image recognition and feature matching algorithms to achieve high-precision recognition of banknote denominations.
The system captures real-time banknote images via the camera and utilises edge-side AI to automatically analyse features such as numbers, patterns, colour distribution, and anti-counterfeiting marks on the banknote, enabling rapid denomination determination. Simultaneously, the algorithm demonstrates robustness, ensuring stable recognition even when the banknote exhibits slight wrinkles, tilting, or variations in lighting conditions.
Users can train the OpenMV smart camera to recognise banknotes from different countries or versions based on actual application scenarios. The recognition results can be directly output to the control system for automatic classification, amount calculation, or transaction authenticity verification.
This embedded vision system is compact, low-power, and capable of edge deployment. It can be easily integrated into devices such as vending machines, campus payment terminals, and robot coin recognition modules, performing recognition tasks independently on the device side.
