It then employs a combination of brightness detection, edge recognition, and grayscale segmentation algorithms to determine whether the pins are intact. When a broken or sunken pin is detected, a distinct area of brightness loss appears in the image. The system can then identify the anomaly and output an alarm signal.

This solution demonstrates exceptionally high sensitivity and stability in real-time detection, effectively distinguishing between the states of "normal bright pins" and "broken/sunken pins without brightness.

Utilising the edge-side AI processing capability of the OpenMV smart camera, high-speed recognition and signal output can be accomplished without requiring an external computer.
