GithubIn modern warehousing logistics and factory automation scenarios, traditional warehouse doors rely on manual operation or simple infrared triggers, which cannot distinguish between personnel, forklifts, and loading vehicles. This often leads to false triggers, energy waste, or safety hazards.
To enhance warehouse efficiency and intelligent capabilities, industrial automation enterprises adopt SingTown's OpenMV intelligent camera AI image recognition technology. Through machine vision and AI deep learning image recognition algorithms, it achieves precise identification and logical control of personnel, manual forklifts, and loaded objects, automatically determining whether warehouse doors should open, thereby creating an efficient and secure intelligent access management system.

Industrial automation enterprises have deployed SingTown Technology's OpenMV intelligent cameras at warehouse entrances and exits, establishing an intelligent warehouse door control system based on AI machine vision image recognition algorithms.
The system can automatically determine the type of passage object.
Single person passing through → does not trigger door opening;
Personnel pushing manual forklift through or personnel pushing loaded forklift through → automatic door opening.
The system is installed on both sides of the warehouse door, capturing real-time images of entry and exit scenarios. It identifies the type of entering objects through target detection and size recognition algorithms.
The AI neural network model identifies targets based on their dimensions and morphological characteristics, using forklift dimensions (approximately 1.2×1.5 metres, height 0.2–2 metres) as the standard. It combines deep learning and contour detection algorithms to determine target categories and movement directions.
A single OpenMV smart camera can achieve stable recognition within a certain range without requiring additional sensors. Moreover, with features such as automatic exposure, white balance, and real-time motion detection, the system ensures stable operation and accurate judgment even under varying lighting conditions or when the target is in motion.
SingTown OpenMV Smart Camera features edge computing and I/O control capabilities. Recognition results can directly trigger gate control relays, enabling local automatic opening and closing without external servers, with latency under 50 milliseconds.
Leveraging SingTown's software and hardware platform, this solution offers flexible edge deployment advantages, unrestricted by warehouse door dimensions, enabling secure anti-misoperation, energy-saving control, and intelligent logistics access management.
Through SingTown Technology's OpenMV intelligent camera edge-side AI visual recognition technology, traditional warehouse access control systems are upgraded into truly intelligent visual gate control systems with "recognition and decision-making" capabilities.
