SingTown Technology's intelligent camera solution, based on the OpenMV platform, integrates AI deep learning with computer vision algorithms to enable real-time detection and localisation of circuit board defects on high-speed production lines.
The system captures high-definition images and automatically compares them with standard templates to conduct precise analysis of the brightness, morphology, and position of solder joints on circuit boards, as well as the orientation of components. When defects such as cold solder joints, insufficient solder, or reversed component installation are detected, it can immediately issue alerts or activate the rejection mechanism, enabling automatic sorting and quality control.
