The system captures images of printed products in real-time using high-speed cameras and automatically compares parameters such as patterns, colours, and alignment accuracy through computer vision algorithms, accurately identifying defects such as missing prints, colour deviations, blurring, and stains.
Compared to manual inspection, AI visual inspection is more stable, precise, and high-speed, significantly reducing errors and costs.
SingTown's OpenMV intelligent camera boasts embedded AI processing capabilities, enabling independent high-speed image recognition and decision-making on the device without reliance on external servers, meeting the real-time demands of printing production lines. The system also supports automatic exposure and illumination compensation, allowing it to adapt to various workshop environments. Furthermore, it can interface with assembly lines via signal ports to achieve automatic alarm triggering and defective product removal.
This solution has now been implemented in multiple printing factories, significantly enhancing detection accuracy and production efficiency, with the yield rate increasing by over twenty per cent.
