This system employs embedded vision, edge-deployed edge detection, deep learning character recognition models, and OCR algorithms, maintaining an identification accuracy exceeding 98% in complex environments such as varying lighting conditions, fluctuating vehicle speeds, and rainy or foggy weather.
Leveraging SingTown Technology's OpenMV edge-side AI computing capabilities, all recognition and comparison processes can be completed locally on the device without requiring cloud server support. Single recognition response times are as low as 100 milliseconds, truly achieving low latency and seamless passage. Additionally, the camera features automatic exposure, white balance, and dynamic range optimisation, ensuring stable and reliable licence plate recognition even in nighttime or backlit scenarios.
Leveraging SingTown's integrated software and hardware platform, this system can swiftly interface with garage barriers, access control controllers, and property management systems, enabling automatic vehicle recognition, coordinated fee collection, and anomaly alerts.
