In the scenario of observing and timing flying objects, traditional manual methods or low-speed equipment struggle to accurately capture high-speed passing targets. SingTown Technology's AI smart camera solution, based on the OpenMV platform, integrates machine vision and computer vision technologies to achieve precise identification and real-time timing of high-speed flying objects.
The system utilizes high-speed cameras to capture target images and employs AI algorithms to analyze target morphology, size, and motion trajectory, enabling precise locking onto flying objects such as eagles with a wingspan of approximately 50 centimeters. When the target crosses the finish line, the system immediately records a timestamp, achieving high-precision timing. The image recognition algorithm effectively handles variations in lighting, background interference, and motion blur, ensuring stable capture of high-speed flying targets.
The OpenMV intelligent camera features high frame rate, low latency, and compact size, enabling easy deployment in competition venues, scientific research areas, or observation platforms.
