The system distinguishes pedestrians from electric scooters through contour detection, target classification, and feature matching algorithms. When electric scooter features (such as wheel shape, handlebar structure) are identified, it immediately triggers audible and visual alarms or sends a blocking signal to the elevator control system.
The OpenMV smart camera features edge AI, enabling stable recognition under varying lighting and reflective conditions without requiring an external computer.
