The WiFi expansion board allows your OpenMV to connect to the internet. The ATWINC1500 FCC certified WiFi module can stream video at speeds up to 48 Mbps. Your OpenMV camera can control this module using the firmware's built-in module.

Applications

This WiFi expansion board easily turns OpenMV into a Web Cam. With the WiFi expansion board, you can transmit JPEG compressed images to a browser (such as Firefox). Once the WiFi expansion board is connected to the internet, you can use MicroPython's BSD socket network interface to send and receive data via TCP/UDP.
