Human Eyes Upgraded to "Intelligent Eyes," SingTown Technology Enhances Cable Inspection Efficiency

在電纜生產與組裝過程中，人手點算及排列檢測效率低且易出錯，難以滿足高精度製造與線上品質檢測的需求。為此，電纜製造商引入了SingTown的OpenMV智能相機識別技術。該方案運用人工智能機器視覺與圖像識別算法，實現多線纜的自動點數、間距量測及排列檢測，大幅提升檢測效率與一致性。

Cable manufacturing enterprises utilise SingTown's OpenMV intelligent camera recognition technology to achieve automatic cable counting, spacing detection, and arrangement quality monitoring.

The camera is installed above the detection area, vertically overlooking the cable arrangement zone. The detection targets are wires with a diameter of 1–5mm, arranged in groups of 12 with a spacing of approximately 24mm. A black baffle is configured beneath the wires to enhance contrast.

The system utilises edge detection, grayscale segmentation, and morphological analysis algorithms to precisely identify the position and quantity of each wire, determining whether there is any skew, absence, or abnormal spacing.

OpenMV智能相機具備邊緣人工智能功能，能夠進行本地計算及實時圖像處理。它直接將檢測信號輸出至控制系統，以實現自動警報或剔除。其檢測延遲低於200毫秒，適合高速生產線使用。
