Achieving stable focus tracking poses a significant challenge in facial recognition and tracking, primarily due to the limitations of traditional camera systems with fixed focus points and slow response speeds. To address this issue, SingTown Technology has developed a facial recognition system capable of real-time identification, automatic tracking, and intelligent focusing.
The system leverages the AI computing capabilities of the OpenMV platform, integrating deep learning facial feature models with machine vision algorithms. The camera captures key facial characteristics (such as eye distance, contour, skin tone distribution, etc.) to swiftly complete identity verification and position locking. Upon detecting the target face, it initiates a dynamic tracking mechanism and automatically adjusts focus and angle to maintain clear imaging.
The system employs lightweight edge-side AI algorithms, enabling efficient operation in embedded environments and supporting both single-person and multi-person recognition. Even under conditions of varying lighting, personnel movement, or partial occlusion, the OpenMV smart camera can stably track targets through its computer vision algorithms.
This embedded vision system offers advantages such as flexibility, low latency, and high computational power. It supports edge deployment and can be widely applied in fields such as smart meeting terminals, classroom teaching, service robots, facial recognition access control, and retail customer flow analysis. By integrating AI and machine vision technologies, SingTown empowers vision systems with "active perception" capabilities, enabling cameras not only to see but also to understand and follow.
