GithubSingTown's AI smart camera system based on OpenMV can be applied to intelligent rodent-catching robots, enabling real-time identification and tracking of mice. The system integrates machine vision, infrared thermal imaging, and image recognition algorithms, allowing it to recognize both the morphological features of mice and detect their thermal signals. This assists robots in automatically locating, tracking, and capturing targets, making it suitable for scenarios such as warehouses, catering establishments, and farms.

Rats are agile, nimble, and vigilant, making it a long-standing challenge to detect and capture them in areas such as food warehouses, farmlands, catering establishments, and urban pest control. SingTown Technology's AI smart camera system, based on OpenMV, leverages machine vision and image recognition technology to provide intelligent rat-catching robots with precise target identification and automatic tracking capabilities.
This embedded vision system captures environmental images through dual-mode visible light and infrared cameras. On-device AI computing analyzes features such as body contours, fur color, and movement trajectories in the footage to identify the precise location of rats. Simultaneously, the infrared module detects body temperature heat signals to ensure accurate target detection even in nighttime or low-light conditions.
Once a mouse is detected, the system calculates the relative distance and direction between the target and the robot, automatically generates a tracking path, and adjusts the movement strategy in real time to achieve an autonomous capture process of "lock—track—approach." Users can also train models independently to optimize the algorithm for distinguishing different animal sizes or movement patterns, thereby further reducing misidentification.
The OpenMV intelligent camera offers advantages such as high frame rate, low power consumption, and compact size, enabling edge deployment in various mobile robots, intelligent traps, or monitoring systems. SingTown Technology focuses on AI, machine vision, and computer vision, empowering robots with intelligent capabilities to "see, recognize, and track." This enables precise identification and automatic tracking of pest rodent targets, supporting the intelligent upgrade of environmental control.
