In the scenario of observing and timing flying objects, traditional manual methods or low-speed equipment struggle to accurately capture high-speed passing targets. SingTown Technology's AI smart camera solution, based on the OpenMV platform, integrates machine vision and computer vision technologies to achieve precise identification and real-time timing of high-speed flying objects.
The system employs high-speed cameras to capture target imagery and utilizes AI algorithms to analyze target morphology, dimensions, and motion trajectory, thereby enabling precise locking onto aerial objects such as eagles with a wingspan of approximately 50 centimeters. Upon the target crossing the finish line, the system instantaneously records a timestamp, achieving high-precision timing. The image recognition algorithm effectively manages variations in lighting, background interference, and motion blur, ensuring the stable capture of high-speed flying targets.
The OpenMV intelligent camera features high frame rate, low latency, and compact size, enabling easy deployment in competition venues, scientific research areas, or observation platforms.
