SingTown Technology's intelligent barcode recognition system, developed based on the OpenMV platform, integrates AI and computer vision technologies into low-power, embeddable smart cameras, delivering stable and real-time code-reading capabilities.
The system employs high-speed image acquisition and preprocessing algorithms to perform denoising, binarisation, and perspective correction. Subsequently, it utilises image recognition and barcode decoding algorithms to swiftly locate the barcode region and restore the code string.
The system incorporates built-in robustness processing and error correction mechanisms, effectively addressing common issues such as label tilting, wrinkles, stains, or reflections, ensuring high recognition rates even in complex environments.
The OpenMV intelligent camera supports continuous triggering and high frame rates, rendering it apt for applications including high-speed sorting on conveyor belts, expedited checkout at point-of-sale terminals, or warehouse scanning for inbound storage. Recognition data can be transmitted in real-time to WMS/ERP/POS systems via standard interfaces or can initiate backend automated processes, such as sorting directives, inbound registration, or order verification. Furthermore, users may augment compatibility with specialised barcodes or custom labels through custom training.
