In fields such as healthcare, laboratory work, and industrial inspection, accurately reading the liquid level in scale instruments is a critical capability for determining temperature, pressure, or the state of chemical reactions. Traditional manual readings are not only time-consuming but also prone to errors due to parallax and lighting conditions.
SingTown Technology's AI smart camera solution based on the OpenMV platform utilises machine vision and image recognition technology to achieve automatic detection and precise reading of scale liquid levels.
The system captures images of instruments such as thermometers and level gauges through cameras. AI algorithms automatically identify the positions of scale lines, numerical markings, and the upper edge of the liquid. Through image processing and pixel calibration algorithms, the liquid height is converted into actual scale values, enabling automated, non-contact real-time measurement. Even under complex conditions such as light reflection, blurred scales, or changes in liquid colour, the system maintains stable and accurate recognition.
This solution leverages edge-side AI for edge deployment, making it suitable for fields such as medical devices, laboratory instruments, and industrial measurement and control, which demand high accuracy, real-time performance, and stability. It can replace traditional manual readings to achieve automated recording, data tracking, and remote monitoring.
