This lens allows your OpenMV to see at greater distances (magnification). The standard lens that comes with OpenMV has a 115° field of view (FOV), allowing your OpenMV Cam to see more but with less detail. This lens has a 25° FOV, providing about 4x magnification for your OpenMV.

Applications

Telephoto lenses are perfect for applications where OpenMV needs to magnify certain targets. For example, the telephoto lens can magnify someone's eyes, making it easy to track eye movements without infrared light, making it easier to determine the direction the pupil is pointing.
