The TV Shield gives your OpenMV Cam a way to display video on a portable screen. For example, it can transmit video to a TV or monitor.
The OpenMV TV Shield can transmit wired video signals. For example, it can transmit video to a TV or monitor.
It is suitable for situations where wireless transmission is not possible, such as underwater or over long distances.
Note that the OpenMV TV Shield can only transmit NTSC signals and requires a NTSC monitor to use.
Applications

Note
The TV Shield only outputs NTSC video (not PAL - this is because the video generator chip requires a fixed freq crystal). You can get access to the analog video via the 3 holes on the front the board where (video/VIN/GND) are broken out.
