This lens enables the OpenMV Cam to see a wider field of view (FOV). The standard lens that comes with OpenMV Cam has a 115° FOV, which isn't ideal for security applications. This lens has a 185° viewing angle, allowing your OpenMV Cam to almost see behind itself.

Applications

The ultra-wide angle lens is perfect for security applications where you need a wide field of view. For example, with the ultra-wide angle lens, OpenMV Cam can easily detect motion throughout an entire room using frame differencing, without needing to be mounted far away.
