This lens gives your OpenMV Cam the ability to see IR light. The standard lens that ships with your OpenMV Cam has a 650nm IR cut filter that blocks IR light. This lens does not so it will not filter out IR light.

Application
This lens allows your OpenMV to see infrared light. The standard lens that comes with the OpenMV has a 650nm IR cut filter that blocks infrared light. This lens does not filter out IR light.
The infrared lens is suitable for any application involving tracking infrared light. For example, you can use the infrared lens to view the infrared light reflected from the pupil for eye-tracking.
