In grain processing and food safety inspection, cracks and mold spots on the surface of rice grains are key indicators for determining quality and edibility. However, rice grains are small and numerous, making traditional manual inspection not only inefficient but also prone to missed detections.
SingTown's AI smart camera solution, built on the OpenMV platform, utilizes machine vision and computer vision technologies to achieve high-precision automatic recognition of tiny cracks and mold spots on the surface of rice grains.
The system captures images of rice grains using high-speed cameras, and AI algorithms analyze the texture, color, and morphology of the rice grain surfaces to accurately identify minute cracks, mold spots, and abnormal discolorations.
