Traditional manual sampling inspections are inefficient and prone to oversight, particularly in high-speed sorting lines where real-time monitoring is challenging. To address this, express logistics companies have adopted SingTown's OpenMV intelligent camera recognition technology. Utilizing AI machine vision and image recognition algorithms, this system automatically detects the attachment status of package labels, ensuring that each label is complete and accurately positioned.

Express logistics enterprises utilize SingTown Technology's OpenMV intelligent camera machine vision and image recognition technology to achieve automatic label detection and correction during the conveyor belt sorting process.
The camera is installed approximately 30–50cm away from the package to identify a white label measuring about 60mm×60mm. The system utilizes edge detection, region recognition, and template matching algorithms to determine whether the label is missing, misplaced, offset, or lifted. Upon detecting any of the aforementioned conditions, the system immediately sends a signal to the control unit to enable automatic alarm or rejection processing.
The edge computing and real-time processing capabilities of the SingTown intelligent camera enable it to stably detect targets on high-speed conveyor belts, with a single response time of less than 200 milliseconds. The system's detection results can be output via GPIO or serial port, seamlessly interfacing with sorting control systems or PLCs to form a complete automated quality inspection process.
